A massive shoutout to our absolute rockstars in the Beginner morning block! We just wrapped up Week 3 of our June camp, and the progress these kids have made is unreal. They went from learning how the pieces move to independently calculating tactics, running digital chess clocks, and competing in full tournament conditions.

There is a $15 Entry Fee, with 1st place taking home the main trophy!

This isn't a daycare; it's an elite mental training ground. In just 4 weeks, we trade video game screen time for master-level focus, intense calculation skills, and tactical decision-making.

📅 Days: Tuesday through Friday
🌅 Beginners: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
☀️ Intermediate/Advanced: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Starting this upcoming school year, Chess Rock will be bringing our structured chess curriculum and mobile chess labs directly to the campus. We are incredibly honored to partner with an institution that holds such a deep-rooted tradition of academic excellence and character building in Laredo.

Through this collaboration, students will develop critical thinking, strategic planning, and patience skills that serve them both on the chessboard and in the classroom.

Ready to test your skills, compete against the best local talent, and climb the ratings? Our June Open is officially locked in for Saturday, June 20th!

Whether you’re looking to play in your very first competitive event or trying to defend your crown, this is where the real calculation happens.

⚠️ CRITICAL INFO: STALEMATE ON SEATS! ⚠️
To keep the tournament running smoothly and ensure a professional competitive environment, space is strictly capped. Only the first 22 participants to register will get a seat at the tables. Once those 22 slots are gone, registration will close immediately—no exceptions!
