The Laredo Clothesline Project is a vehicle for women affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt.

They then hang the shirt on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of violence against women.

Thank you to Rudy & Jesse for sending pictures of the Domestic Violence annual conference’s use of the Laredo Clothesline Project. We were honored to have volunteers from Casa de Misericordia create additional shirts in group session and have them put up the display. Thank you for all the support!

We set out for another group session to talk stories, hurts & joys with the women of Casa de Misericordia and invited guests. It's always empowering to share with others.
