A big thank you to the Nixon High School volleyball team and Coach Amabeli Fernandez for inviting Dr. Hernandez to speak at yesterday’s volleyball banquet. We were also honored to hear from Dr. Ashley Everett Juve, who played volleyball alongside Coach Fernandez and Dr. Hernandez over 15 years ago.
It made the evening even more special to see that connection come full circle. It’s truly beautiful to see strong women continue to support one another while inspiring the next generation.
