Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s Laredo Bar Association CLE on the Collateral Consequences of Criminal Convictions!

It was a fantastic session with our speaker, Laredo Criminal Defense Attorney Roberto Balli, who shared valuable insights drawn from his 30 years of experience as both a prosecutor and defense lawyer right here in Webb County. Great seeing so many familiar faces and connecting with colleagues across our legal community.

As a reminder, our general bar meetings will continue on the first Thursday of every month, with built-in CLE credit at each one.

We’re grateful for your support and look forward to growing an even stronger Laredo Bar together. See you at the next meeting!

What an incredible afternoon! The Laredo Bar Association held its 2026 Law Day Luncheon on Friday, May 1st, celebrating this year's theme — "The Rule of Law and the American Dream" — as our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. We were honored to present the Spirit of Excellence Award to Baldemar Garcia Jr., introduced by Martha Cigarroa; the Liberty Bell Award to Alyssa Cigarroa, introduced by the Honorable Diana Saldaña; and the Law Day Chair to the Honorable Monica Z. Notzon, introduced by Adriana Maddox. Thank you to our keynote speaker, the Honorable Kevin Yeary of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, and to everyone who joined us. This is what happens when a community comes together. Here's to the Laredo Bar Association — we're just getting started!
