Today's XC meet at Texas Lutheran University, marks the beginning of the "season" for us. This meet gave us the opportunity to evaluate ourselves and identify our strengths and weaknesses. We now know what we must work on in order to improve our times. Great job everyone, September 30th will be our next XC meet. Seek improvement and enjoy the process.

Hernandez Leads Dustdevils to Fourth Place Finish at the Norry Hersey Rice Invitational - Texas A&M International University Senior Rebekah Hernandez got her final season off to a strong start with an eighth place finish at the 42nd Annual Norry Hersey Rice Invitational hosted in Houston on Friday evening leading the women's team to a fourth place finish.

Congratulations to the Alexander girl's team placing second and advancing to Regionals. United South Boys take the District Title! United Boys ties for 3rd but ultimately takes 4th. Congratulations to everyone for running hard and giving it their all!

Awesome performance by the LISD schools at the 29-5A District Meet. On the Girl's side, Martin places 2nd and punches their ticket to Regionals. On the Boy's end, Martin places 2nd with Cigarroa taking 3rd with both teams securing Regional spots. Great work by everyone participating this morning. Next up is the 29-5A District Meet.

With Cross Country season in full swing, we would like to give a shout out to all our city's local athletes working hard towards a great season. Hard work always pays off!
