Friday night, we were able to enjoy a night out with our fire department family. Great time, watching the game at the South Bend Cubs.

This past Wednesday, we were called out to the toll road for a roll over accident. Upon arrival we found two vehicles, a Semi with trailer, along with a pickup also hauling a trailer, both involved in the accident. Luckily there were no major injuries, but completely shut down the east bound lanes for an extended amount of time, due to clean up.
Thank you to Springfield Township Volunteer Fire Department, La Porte County Emergency Medical Service, LaPorte County E911, LaPorte County Haz-mat, and Indiana State Police, for all of your service.

Great training this past week. Wolverine Pipe Line group came in to teach us about their company and what to do incase of an emergency.
We started off a busy day with a bad accident this morning on 35, and followed by a structure fire later in the morning on Waverly road.
Would like to thank LaPorte City Fire along with Springfield Fire, for their assistance on both of these calls. Very much appreciated.
