Beechwood Junior League got off to a great start tonight against Legacy Hills Golf Club. A big thank you to Jay Williams and Bill Euler for hosting the boys!

Congratulations to “Mellow” Keith Ward on his Hole In One on #3! Keith hit a pitching wedge from 103 yards and was witnessed by Clyde Crass and Gary Tilling. I’m glad he was sporting that awful vintage denim longsleeve he loves so much…Drinks on Keith after the round!

Congrats to our member, Jake Huelet on his Hole In One today on #11 at Harbor Shores! Jake hit a pitching wedge from #125 yards. Well done JH!!!

Last Chance to Join June's Couple's "League". Get your weekend started off right with Beechwood's Couple Night! Our Couples "League" is a great social event throughout the summer, featuring both Competitive and Recreational Divisions. The Recreational Division for our June event is almost full, so be sure to reserve your spot soon!

Each event is a version of a scramble designed to provide a low-stress, fun experience for both participants. Every event is a separate sign-up, so you don't have to attend every date to join in the fun. Cocktail hour begins at 4:00 PM, followed by a 5:00 PM shotgun start. We look forward to seeing you there!

Registration is now open for the 2026 LaPorte City Tournament Match Play Championship at Beechwood Golf Course, taking place July 31 – August 2, 2026.

A qualifying round must be completed by Sunday, July 26 in an approved group. The tournament will feature three match play rounds to determine flight winners, with tee times beginning at 10:00 AM each day.

Tournament divisions include:

Championship Flight
Senior Flight (Age 60+)
Ladies Flight
The entry fee is $85 per player, with 100% of entry fees paid out in prizes and banquet festivities.

Entry fee does not include cart fees (2 carts per foursome).

It felt good to get our Junior Golf Program going this morning! It’s always fun to see the joy and excitement on their faces each week! See you again next Monday.

The South Central Satellites are your 2026 Sectional Champions! SC shot a team score of 328 to edge out La Porte and Marquette (both advancing). Beechwood’s very own Lukas Albin was the medalist with a very impressive 75! Best of luck to all of the players advancing to next week’s Regionals at Sandy Pines! Thank you to Steve Santana and Jeff Sherman for always running a well coordinated event.
