The Rams defensive front is built on creativity, and Braden Fiske is at the center of it. His ability to shift between inside and outside alignments is opening doors for Chris Shula’s defense, giving offensive lines headaches and creating mismatches across the board.

“I think just with the versatility of being able to play inside-outside, they just kind of like to move me around,” Fiske said. “It gives everybody different ops everywhere. We just try to mix and match things, give different looks at offensive line.”

Defensive coordinator Chris Shula echoed that trust: “He’s so skilled that he’s a versatile guy for us. With the depth we have, we can move him anywhere up and down the line. It’s matchup-driven, and he thrives in those roles.”

Teammate Kobie Turner sees the same impact: “He’s able to get out on the edge and be a force out there as well. When you have a guy quick enough and powerful enough to do it on the inside and outside, it gives you a whole lot of versatility as a play caller.”

In Week 2, that versatility will be tested against Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward. For Fiske and the Rams, the goal remains the same, keep shifting, keep attacking, and keep dictating the terms in the trenches.
