The Granger 2026 Summer Internship Program is in full swing!

Our 36 interns came together in Lansing for a day centered on service, connection and hands-on learning.

The group started the day at Give-A-Kid Projects in Holt, volunteering their time to prepare backpacks, organize clothing and support site improvements for the organization's upcoming season. Back at our headquarters, interns listened to presentations from team members, learning more about the construction industry and strengthening relationships with one another. The day concluded with a tour of Michigan State University's Combined Heat and Power project, where the team got an up-close look at the progress being made and what it takes to bring a complex project to life.

Dave Weaver joins Granger Construction as Safety Manager, supporting the team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dave brings extensive experience in safety leadership, and his deep expertise and commitment to jobsite safety will be a tremendous asset to the team. ..
Thomas Korson joins the team as a Drone Pilot, supporting our HQ office. Thomas brings a strong technical foundation in cybersecurity and information systems, along with hands‑on experience in data analysis, computer systems, and field operations. ..
Shane Lewis joins the team as Superintendent, supporting the team in East Lansing, Michigan. Shane brings strong field leadership and an ability to manage complex projects and will be a valuable addition to the team.

What’s more exciting than being on the news? Helping build where it happens!

Granger joined the Gray Media team and project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of WILX News 10 ’s expanded space. This new facility will bring WILX and FOX 47 News - WSYM together, prioritizing collaboration, innovation and a more comfortable environment for their teams.

Granger’s Corktown office was proud to host the Hard Hats with Heart event alongside the American Heart Association - Michigan.

With an incredible turnout of industry peers, the event created meaningful space for connection and reflection, bringing together construction professionals who are deeply committed not only to their work but to the well-being of those around them.

Heart health and jobsite safety go hand in hand, and conversations like these help ensure that everyone goes home safe and healthy at the end of the day. It was inspiring to see so many people come together in support of a cause that affects us all, both on and off the jobsite.

This year, Granger was proud to share presentations with Michigan State University focused on creating healthier campus environments through active design with ROSSETTI, as well as advancing sustainability in data center construction across Michigan with Integrated Design Solutions.

Jon brings years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, with a specialty in excavation equipment and field maintenance. Jaime Taylor joins Granger Construction as a Superintendent, supporting the team in Lansing, Michigan. Jaime brings over 15 years of experience leading commercial and industrial construction projects. His strong field leadership, safety focus and ability to lead teams to successful outcomes make him a valuable addition to our team.

Congratulations on your last day of school, Alma Public Schools!

We had the pleasure of visiting several classrooms to share a preview of the exciting construction starting this summer, including a first look at new playgrounds! A big thank-you to the teachers for welcoming us into their classrooms and giving us time with their students.

The students were full of curiosity and enthusiasm, asking unique questions about the project and what it’s like to work in construction. Their energy for what’s to come made the experience even more memorable.
