🌎❤️ **Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from Sunnybrook PTA!** ❤️🌎

This month, **Sunnybrook PTA celebrates the rich cultures, traditions, history, and countless contributions of Hispanic communities.** From educators and essential workers to artists, entrepreneurs, scientists, community leaders, and families, Hispanics have helped shape our communities and make our country stronger.

As a PTA, we believe it’s important for our children to see their cultures and heritage **recognized, respected, and celebrated.** Our diversity is part of what makes our school community so special.

To all our Hispanic families and community members — **we celebrate you, your heritage, your contributions, and your stories.** ❤️

💙 **Parents & Guardians — Please Join Us**

We invite all parents and guardians to attend an important event at the TFS high school focused on **su***de prevention, recognizing the warning signs, and learning how we can better support our children.**

We’ll learn:
• 🚩 Warning signs to look for
• 💬 How to start difficult conversations with our children
• ❤️ Ways we can support a child who may be struggling
• 📚 Resources and support available to families
• 🤝 What we can do as a community to help keep our children safe

This is an important conversation that **no parent should feel they have to navigate alone.** Even if you don't think your child is struggling, knowing the signs and having the right resources can make a difference when it matters most.

**Please join us, bring your questions, and share this with other parents and guardians. Our children need us to be informed, prepared, and there for them.** 💙

Location: TF South Auditorium

¡Disfruten del día festivo y cuídense! ❤️🤍💙

📚 Parents, make sure your child has a library card!
With District 171 currently without a librarian on site, we need to make sure our children still have access to the resources they need to read, research, complete homework, and learn.
A FREE library card provides access to books, tutoring, technology, homework help, programs, and online resources.
Our children should not have fewer opportunities because District 171 is missing this important resource. Until the district addresses this gap, let’s use our community libraries to help fill it.
👉 Get the card. Use the library. Advocate for our kids. 📖
