Happy 75th birthday, Bishop Earl A. Boyea! Thank you for years of faithful service to the Diocese of Lansing; may God grant you peace, joy, and wisdom as you prepare to submit your resignation to the Pope and enter this new chapter.

Eight years ago today I officially launched my campaign for my local school board. Before my candidacy, the board was an uncontested private social club — now they're held accountable and answer to the public (sometimes). We created public awareness that simply was not there. We inspired others to get involved. Good or bad. They were engaged. That’s a win. That six-year term flew by, and wow, did we make a splash.

March is Reading Month: waiting in line for confession today, I noticed the woman sitting next to me reading "Saints Who Battled Satan". I was instantly intrigued! Definitely adding it to my list. Btw, there's nothing like post-confession peace. Mass after. New bumper stickers, too!

Big thanks to Michigan Catholics for the new shirt - wearing it proudly at the gym tonight! 💪🏻

Had a wonderful time celebrating the Saint Patrick’s Day Mass with Detroit Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Detroit. After Mass, my Mom and I enjoyed a lovely Irish dinner in Corktown with the Archbishop. Have a blessed Saint Patrick’s Day 🇮🇪☘️
