We're going UNDER COVER!
Our annual Cover Songs edition of All Request Saturday Night returns this weekend! Rock and roll has always borrowed from itself. Blues became rock. Rock bands covered soul records. British bands rediscovered American music and sent it back across the Atlantic. And sometimes the cover became so famous that everybody forgot there was an original!
We'll have five decades of possibilities to dig through Saturday night.
But here's where you come in.
Cover Songs is our feature. YOU are still our programmer. Your request doesn't have to be a cover—it doesn't even have to be related to the feature.

One of our favorite annual traditions returns Saturday night as All Request Saturday Night goes Under Cover!
It's an entire feature devoted to rock artists taking somebody else's music and making it their own. Some became bigger than the originals. Some are so obscure you may not have known they were covers at all. And we'll pull out some wonderfully strange ones from the archives.
But who decides what else we play?

Looks like I get a couple weeks off. Night game yesterday and a 5pm game next Saturday night. We’re back (hopefully) October 3rd with our yearly Cover Songs feature. Should be fun and looking forward to digging up more of your requests. Have a good week friends!

Our good friend Dr. Todd Baum made a trip to Montreaux Switzerland to be a part of Freddie Mercury's 80th birthday celebration. Todd is the biggest Queen fan I know. He also got to visit their recording studio. Looks like he had a blast. Thanks for sharing Todd!
