Some pages from my comic Magical Women about revolution and violence and child soldiers. Yes, this is a satire of the magical girl genre, but it's also a serious commentary on the real life fight against fascism. This is after the main character kills a man for the first time.

A large mainstream q***r media company posted an article about one of the many horrible anti-trans bills today, and the comments were full of bigots celebrating. When I pointed out that failing to moderate the bigots out of their comments section exposes q***r people to more harm and bigotry, they revoked my ability to comment, so now I'm getting replies from bigots who I now cannot defend myself from. "Just block and move on." Why is that on me as an individual when the owner of the account could block the bigots for EVERY q***r and trans person who they are supposedly "advocating" for?

I'm a small account, and I'm just one person. I'm not on here much, and most of my posts don't get much engagement since I refuse to pay Meta one single nickle (since pennies are gone now). Sometimes a comment section can get away from me for a day or so when something goes unexpectedly viral. But as soon as I notice, I go through and block every single bigot, because I do not want to expose y'all to that when my mission is to EMPOWER you. I don't want to add more burden to your already overloaded psyche. I don't want you to waste time and energy fighting with these people who are too far gone in their brain rot. And I know that reading a bunch of anti-q***r/trans vitriol can become a form of self-harm for q/t people. How could I allow that on my page as a q***r, trans person myself? As someone who has made it my mission to make the world safer and more free for us?

I get that the algorithm rewards "engagement," whether good or bad, but I would rather empower 100 people than reach 100,000 people while exposing the ones I'm (*ahem*) ADVOCATING for to further violence. This is probably why I still get little engagement here, but I don't care. If you can't be safe with other q***r people, who can you be safe with?

Posting pro-trans content but refusing to moderate the bigots out of the comments harms trans people.
