After eight months of negotiations, Extension United Local 1855 has reached Tentative Agreement with MSU on our inaugural contract!

This milestone was achieved through collective action. Our presence at the February Board of Trustees meeting pushed MSU to move, securing a 1% signing bonus at ratification, which the University previously claimed was impossible.

Thank you to everyone who supported this effort! Next stop: ratification!

Friday was a testament to MSU Extension workers' resolve in fighting for what's fair. We are so close to the finish line.

We've amended our complaint in the lawsuit against the embattled student loan servicer, MOHELA. They have continued to harm student loan borrowers since the lawsuit was first filed in July 2024, in violation of consumer protection law.
