Lansing RIF-Reading is Fundamental

RIF participated in the KAK Network's Nonprofit gala last Friday. The KAK Network (see description below) matches all contributions made at the event. Pictured is RIF Advisory Board member Jean Bolley, who staffed RIF's table.

Lansing RIF is participating in the 2nd Annual KAK Network Non-Profit Gala Celebration at Hawk Hollow Golf Course on Friday Sept 11th from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Supporters are welcome/invited to come for free Little Hawk Putting Golf from 4-5 p.m. and a "Meet and Greet" The Non-Profits from 5-6 p.m. in the Clubhouse. Donations will be accepted and all donations up to a total of $1000 for will be matched by The KAK Network. Complimentary Refreshments will be served.

The KAK Network is named after Kevin Alan Kelly and is in its 18th Year of raising funds for the Non-Profit Community, totaling over $400,000 to date.

Our first RIF distribution of the school year is at Capital Area K-12 Online School, for their back to school open house. Principal Zachary Dowdy chose his first read-aloud of the year. (Teachers--and principals!--get to select a RIF book in the fall, too!)

The Cat in the Hat welcomes you to the new RIF room! A number of finishing touches still to be completed as we settle in--but we're looking forward to a new year of RIF days!

Lansing RIF-Reading is Fundamental and a great audience had "fun that is funny" at the Riverwalk Theatre's production of "Seussical" last night! Thanks to all who participated for your support of RIF!
