46th Military Police Command
46 MP CMD is a command level Military Police HQ element within the Michigan Army National Guard
Its mission is to provide command and control for the operational/tactical planning, supervision, coordination and integration of assigned or attached military police combat support and internment/resettlement brigades and other military police units engaged in Army, joint, and multinational military police operations in support of the Army/combatant commander's priorities.

Driving on through Part 1 of Task Force 46's Annual Training, Peacekeepers are spending the next three days digging deep into the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), further sharpening their skills as a headquarters-level formation. The processes and lessons learned over the next three days will be tested at Part 2 of the Command's Annual Training in August.

The 46th Military Police Command kicked off their Annual Training Part 1 this week at Volk Field Air National Guard Base in Wisconsin. Over the next week, Peacekeepers will engage with senior leaders across the enterprise to gather a shared understanding of the Command's latest requirements and capabilities under Protection and Homeland Defense.
Today, Lt. Gen. Alan M. Pepin, Commanding General, U. S. Army North (Fifth Army), spoke with Peacekeepers and held an open QA session on his perspectives and the Command's evolving role.

Ahead of next month's Annual Training, the 46th Military Police Command welcomed newcoming Peacekeepers to the organization, and recognized several more for their outstanding achievements and contributions to our mission of .
Two outgoing Peacekeepers were also recognized. Thank you to MSG Justin Fruchey and SGT Nate Deweerd for their years of selfless service and dedication to the Michigan National Guard!

Leaders from the Michigan Army National Guard met in the same room Civil War veterans met in over 145 years ago.
The Michigan National Guard conducted their Quarterly Commanders Conference at the Eaton Rapids Grand Army of the Republic Museum.
The Commanders represented in this photo can trace direct lineage to several units who fought in Civil War battles such as Antietam, Vicksburg, and Gettysburg.
