The Michigan Department of Transportation has issued a travel advisory for US-127/I-496 in Ingham County.
π§ Friday, June 19, starting at 9 a.m., through Tuesday, June 23, at 9 p.m. π§
β’ US-127/I-496 will have intermittent single- and double-lane closures in each direction between I-96 and Trowbridge Road for final pavement marking.
β’ The US-127 ramps to I-96, Dunckel Road, Trowbridge Road, and I-496 will have intermittent closures for final pavement marking.
π§ Monday, June 22, starting at 7 a.m., through Monday, July 27, at 7 p.m. π§
β’ Northbound US-127 Exit 79 to Lake Lansing Road will be closed for ramp reconstruction. Traffic will be detoured via Exit 78 to eastbound M-43, then to northbound Coolidge Road, then to Lake Lansing Road.

π§ The Michigan Department of Transportation will close M-78 at Sand Road in Bellevue for reconstruction, starting tomorrow, Thursday, June 18, at 7 a.m., and continuing through Saturday, June 20, at 7 p.m. π§
Westbound traffic will be detoured via northbound I-69, westbound M-79, and southbound M-66. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via northbound M-66, eastbound M-79, and southbound I-69.

π§ The Michigan Department of Transportation will begin a resurfacing project on M-100 from Doane Highway to Strange Highway in Potterville today, Monday, June 15, and continue through Monday, June 29. π§
This project will require single-lane closures using flagging operations. Motorists should expect delays.

π§ The Michigan Department of Transportation will begin improvements on M-78 (Capital Avenue/Main Street) from Sharkey Street to the Battle Creek River in the village of Bellevue on Monday, June 8, at 7 a.m., and continue through 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28. π§
Work will include removing and replacing the existing pavement and sidewalks, implementing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades, and installing new school speed zone signs.

The Phase II Road Ahead survey has been extended until June 12. The survey asks for your feedback on two proposed service concepts developed from community input in Phase I. These ideas aim to explore potential future transit growth and adaptation and are not yet final routes or service changes. π
