Today is one of the biggest days of my life. At 8:02 this morning my wife and I welcomed our daughter into the world!

12 hours later, I was in Lansing to vote on a key budget measure. Some of my colleagues on the opposite side of the aisle were likely disappointed with my arrival tonight. But I am here to do a job not play politics. If there is work to be done I will be there to do it.

It's the job I was elected to do.

Today should be a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Instead we're faced with the reality that in much of this country people have fewer rights than they did 50 years ago.

Michigan House Democrats are determined to protect the reproductive rights of all Michiganders.

Christine Morse has won in House District 40! Rep Morse is headed back to Lansing to continue delivering for Michigan families in Kalamazoo and Portage!

Julie Brixie has won in House District 73 defeating extreme Republican Norm Shinkle who voted to not certify the results of the 2020 election. Julie will continue to fight for integrity and democracy in our State Legislature.

Denise Mentzer has won in House District 61. Denise is ready to get to work in Lansing to bring better jobs to Michigan and put Macomb families first.

Matt Koleszar wins in House District 22! Matt has worked tirelessly to keep our elections secure, secure record investments in public schools, and deliver for first responders and their families.
