Brought in the new year exactly how I wanted- alone in my studio space, drinking a beer, and painting. 10/10.

This is Duke. I didn’t know Duke, but I know he was a very good boy. I know Duke’s human, who was very sad to have lost him this year, so I painted this for him.

Kermit vibes

Got in my studio and started to intuitively add on to this giant canvas I had started with the honeycomb pattern, and this is what came out.
I started thinking about the state of our world, and things we have control over (and all the things we don’t).
I’m excited to see where this leads…
