Students from DeWitt High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter recently hosted a bake sale and book drive to support patients at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at UM Health–Sparrow.

Their generosity and heart for service are making a meaningful difference for the children and families we serve.

Our 2025 Miracle Child, LJ, and his family had an unforgettable time at the RE/MAX Conference in Traverse City, proudly representing C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at UM Health–Sparrow.

They were honored as the conference’s featured Miracle Family. LJ was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, an aggressive childhood cancer.

Although the road to recovery is long, his mother, Maddie, says that no matter what he's been through, her son keeps dancing and smiling.
