Brothers and Sisters, we are looking for donations of non perishable food, water, and Gatorade to be donated to our brothers and sisters on strike at UAW Local 2093. Donations can be dropped off at the hall and we will have them packed up and taken to the regional office. We are looking to have it taken Thursday morning. We've been through strikes and we understand how it can be. Let's show them as much support as we can!

Assembled in Lansing: American250MI Exhibit Opening

On June 3rd at 3 PM, the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum (REOTM) will open its new permanent exhibit, “Assembled in Lansing: Building a Workforce. Building a Union.” This exhibit was developed in partnership with America250MI, the statewide commemoration of the nation’s 250th anniversary. “We are honored to partner with America250MI to expand our interpretation of Lansing’s automotive history and future. This effort underscores our shared commitment to preserving the region’s automotive heritage,” stated Michael Rodriguez, board president of R.E. Olds Transportation Museum.

Memorial Day is a great day to enjoy time with friends and family, but the holiday has a deeper meaning. We remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom to worship, freedom to assemble, freedom to petition, freedom of the press and more. On this Memorial Day, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country and to their families.
