What an incredibly detailed history put together by The Lansing Journal! What especially stands out to us are the longstanding community relationships that have helped LARC to become what it is today. Groups like Lansing School District 158 and Lansing Junior Woman's Club among others have been with us every step of the way and have been integral in providing LARC clients with the services and experiences they enjoy today. We have said it before, and we will say it again: We are so blessed to be part of such a supportive and collaborative community! We love Lansing!

Lansing History: 70 years ago, someone saw a need; today LARC is 'Lansing's greatest achievement' - The Lansing Journal Throughout LARC's history, Lansing has always stepped up to fill the gap. The spirit of community that made LARC possible 70 years ago continues to make it thrive today.

This is a reminder that LARC's CDS program will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Thank you so much to Suzanne Aaron from The Arc of Illinois for joining us for our annual membership meeting last night as our guest speaker! Suzanne gave a very informative and interesting presentation on how employment can affect your benefits. It was a great evening!

LARC's CDS program will be closed on Friday, May 15 and Monday, May 18 for staff in-service training.

Thornton Fractional school board honors Lan-Oak Park District for special education vocational program - The Lansing Journal The Lan Oak Park District has been presented with an Excellence Counts Award by Thornton Fractional High School District 215.

We were happy to be able to pass along a donation of new stuffed animals to Lansing PD this morning. We are so blessed to be part of this community!

Thank you LARC for donating stuffed animals to LPD to use as comfort toys for children.
