LARC Lansing

Boy, have we missed these bright, shining faces! LARC offices and CDS are back open today after experiencing a loss of power, phones, and internet, as well as property damage during the storms last Tuesday. We are sorry for the limited communication we had during this time. We hope that all of our LARC family is emerging safe from the storm and beginning to rebuild. We are stronger together!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the LARC on the Links annual golf outing last Friday at Glenwoodie Golf Club! The weather was PERFECT and so was the company! We are so grateful to have such a tight and loyal group of people who love LARC and what we do and continue to show up for us!

So much Lansing love in one place! We are beyond grateful for the Lansing School District 158 Administrators, LPD Officers, LFD Firefighters, Mayor Brian Hardy, and the Village of Lansing representatives for teaming up to provide a spectacular day of food, fun, and community for our clients!

This morning, clients in our customized employment program sold the vegetables they grew in their garden at the Fox Pointe Farmers Market! They got the invaluable experience of being part of every step of the process from planting a seed, to tending to it, to harvesting the fruit, and finally selling it to someone to cook. It was a hot one, but we had a blast! We can't wait to see everyone out there again next Tuesday!

Staff and clients from our Senior Room celebrated Cow Appreciation Day yesterday by heading to Chick-fil-a for lunch!
