Well it was a 13 family day at the pantry. Two on the left are before and the two on the right we after.

I want to say thank you to those who donated cash to help make this possible. Also want to say thank you to the couple of people that donated things today while we were open.

Your generosity has help make this possible!

Hello everyone! I just crunched the numbers from the 1st week of Novembers pantry for Lansing.

We helped 18 families that consisted of 59 people. Ready to hear how many pounds we put out into the community? That is a staggering 696.6 lbs. When I get up to the pantry in the morning I will get some pictures of it fully stocked, so you all can see what you HELP make happen!

Sacred Fire Ceremony at the House of Bear
Presented by: The Conscious Community Coven and Blessed Be Tea and Apothecary
Date & Time: September 21nd, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: House of Bear, Grand Traverse County, Northern Michigan 4242 Co Rd. 633 Grawn, Mi
FREE EVENT
Join us for a powerful and transformative evening at the House of Bear, a serene retreat nestled within the tranquil beauty of a 97-acre working tree farm. This special event invites you to disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with the natural world, all within the enchanting surroundings of Northern Michigan.
This sacred fire ceremony is an opportunity to let go of burdens, connect with the elements, and immerse yourself in a profound spiritual experience.
This ceremony is deeply connected to Mabon, the Fall Equinox, a time of balance between light and dark as we transition into the harvest season. Mabon is a celebration of gratitude, reflection, and release, aligning perfectly with our fire ceremony’s purpose. As we gather around the sacred fire, we honor the Earth’s cycles, give thanks for our personal harvests, and release what no longer serves us, creating space for new growth and harmony in our lives. This ritual offers a powerful way to connect with the energies of the season and embrace the spirit of Mabon.
What to Expect:
Ritual Invocation: We will call upon the spirits of the four directions and natural spirits to guide and protect us.
Fire Ceremony: Each participant is invited to bring a stick to offer to the sacred fire. This stick will symbolize something you wish to release or transform. You may also bring spiritually significant items to enhance your experience.

What to Bring:
A stick for the fire ceremony
A donation for the Northern Michigan chapter of Pagans in Need (non-expired food or hygienic product)
Appropriate clothes for the weather
A blanket or folding camp chair to sit on.
A respectful and kind attitude
This evening promises to be a deep, communal experience, allowing participants to release what no longer serves them and to invite in the healing power of nature and spirit. We look forward to sharing this sacred space with you.
