Between working full-time, mom life, buying a house, moving, renovating the house nearly every free minute, and trying to make the holidays feel magical for our kids...the days have been long and the nights even longer. A lot of late nights. A lot of early mornings.

But I would not trade it for anything.

Because in the middle of all the chaos, I still get to see photos like this!

Echo’s smile is the reminder. This is why I do what I do. Even when life is busy. Especially when life is busy.

Thank you for being patient while I juggle it all. The heart behind this business has never been more alive.

That's probably how many times I said, "OH. MY. GOSH!!" or "LOVE IT!!!" or "NAILED IT!!" during Brad and Jenna's engagement session this past Saturday!

I had an incredible time getting to know these two lovebirds and am beyond excited to announce that I'll be capturing their big day next October.

Typically, I pick a handful of edits to share as a sneak peek on the following Monday but, here I am, sharing the ones I normally would choose one or the other...because they all just deserve their own moment together. I'm so happy we were able to do these in the warm autumn glow before the snow hit yesterday. Snow has it's own time and place, but Brad and Jenna were clearly made for autumn.

It's officially WEDDING WEEK for Jocelyn & Troy! 😍

Today was supposed to be one of my client’s wedding days. Instead, their lives took a turn back in June when life threw them something no one can ever possibly plan for. With incredible courage, they chose to move their vows forward, exchanging rings and promises three months sooner than planned.

Even in the hardest times, love has a way of shining through. Their wedding wasn’t about a date, a venue, or a timeline. It was about choosing each other, wholeheartedly, no matter what.

Life happens. Plans change. And through it all, what stays the same is the heart behind why I do this. I’m here for my couples not only on their best days, but also when life gets completely flipped upside down.

Wishing these two all the love, strength, and joy as they walk this journey hand in hand.
