Foreclosure and delinquent property taxes are always difficult to talk about. But as Ingham County Treasurer Alan Fox explains in this article, it's an important and complex issue to include in the conversation about sustainable and affordable housing in our area.
Ultimately, Fox says, the Treasurer's office concentrates their efforts on the people who aren’t on the list. "Those are the individual homeowners who are making an effort, who need assistance and financial counseling. That’s where we’re spending our time."
