TBT… my dad taught me many things, and sometimes had to laugh at the monster he created. Here he’s almost embarrassed at a smug 10-year-old Kirk’s reaction during a league banquet. Nelson told me to be bold and take chances. I hope some of those lessons are passed on to Jared. (About 1975, and likely at The Sveden House Smorgasbord banquet room)

Our second… 1511 Lyons Ave. took a risk on this cool 2 bedroom home. Great open space around house, especially for the city. Lots and lots of people looked but didn’t buy, so maybe it holds secrets we’ll uncover in the coming weeks. Improvement plan includes reworking a load bearing wall in basement, washing the siding, and new appliances in kitchen.

Jennifer found this while driving to another property. “Did you guys see that cute little White House…”. Of course the answer was no, I’m busy looking at roof lines and window condition, and basement walls… and that’s why we needed Jen on the team 🙂

Our first…. So excited to start here- 826 Larned St, Lansing. Two 1-bedroom apartments. Improvement plan includes chimney repair, new gutters, yard excavation, new siding, new steps, fresh paint, eradicate a bay issue, tree removal and more.

Jared and Kirk and Jennifer… with the occasional phone assist from Pat, or Pat, running the wheels off James and David’s cars… we’re gonna make a mark on Lansing neighborhoods by saving distressed homes- turning them into desirable value rentals for deserving neighbors.
