A home isn't just a building; it’s decades of memories. After facing severe storm damage, mold, and mounting repair needs, Ms. Boyd wasn't sure she could afford to stay in the home she’s owned since 1987.

Through the Detroit Home Repair Fund and the dedication of our Case Managers, we were able to make her home safe and comfortable again.

My role as a Reviewer not only focuses on compliance, but also provides an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. My experience working with those affected by Hurricane Ian in Florida, the wildfires in Hawaii, and now with After The Storm here in Michigan, aligns with my desire to help others and shows our survivors that we are in their corner." Last week, our team lost much more than a colleague. We want to take a moment to honor Nalani Miller and the impact she made in the lives of everyone she met. We send our sincerest condolences, prayers, and light to her family and loved ones.
