We're excited to welcome Beau Orchard to the team! Beau graduated from Calvin University with a degree in Energy, Environmental, and Sustainability Engineering and joins Eng. as a Staff Engineer.

When asked why he chose Eng., Beau shared that the firm's small-team culture really stood out to him. He was drawn to an environment where people know and support one another, communicate openly, and take pride in delivering thoughtful, reliable work. He also appreciated Eng.'s commitment to excellence and collaborative approach to success.

He's looking forward to learning from the team, growing in his career, and contributing to projects that make a meaningful impact on local communities. Outside of work, Beau enjoys spending time in nature, exploring new places, rock climbing, and going to the beach with his dogs.

We're thrilled to have Beau on board and look forward to seeing all he'll accomplish as part of the Eng. Team!

We’re excited to welcome Dylan Panozzo to the Eng. team! Dylan has completed two years at Muskegon Community College and will be transferring to Ferris State University to continue pursuing his degree in Construction Management.

This summer, he’s looking forward to learning more about construction and surveying while gaining valuable hands-on experience through his internship. Outside of work, Dylan enjoys golfing, yard work, and helping others whenever he can. We’re excited to have Dylan on board and look forward to seeing him grow in his career!

We’re excited to welcome Sam LaDronka to the Eng. team! Sam is currently studying at Michigan State University and joining us this summer as an intern.

He’s looking forward to learning more about civil engineering and gaining hands-on experience throughout his internship. Outside of work, Sam enjoys staying active through running and backpacking. We’re excited to have him on board and can’t wait to see all he accomplishes this summer!

We’re excited to welcome Devon Downs to the Eng. team! With 10 years of experience in the skilled trades, Devon joins us as a Survey Technician.

He’s looking forward to learning a new role and contributing to projects that will positively impact communities for years to come. Outside of work, Devon is an avid outdoorsman who also enjoys golfing and playing pool. We’re excited to have him on board and can’t wait to see all he brings to the team!

Sidewalk coming soon! We’re excited to announce that construction has begun on Fulton Street from Plymouth to Worcester. This project will improve neighborhood connectivity, provide access to The Rapid bus system along Fulton Street, and enhance safety and accessibility for the community. We’re proud to be part of this project and look forward to seeing it come to life!

That’s a wrap on Engineers Week 2026! Civil engineering plays a vital role in the safety, function, and growth of the community. We’re especially grateful for our group of engineers and the dedication they bring every day to making a lasting impact.

Last week, we attended the WMU Spring Engineering Expo and Career Fair. We always enjoy the opportunity to connect with the Broncos, share more about the work that we do, and meet the next generation of engineers.
