I offer my heartfelt thanks, Lord, for guiding me on my journey and affording me the honor of joining the distinguished Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, established in 1906. Forty-six years ago, I embarked on this journey, crossing the burning sands at Michigan State University's Gamma Tau Chapter. At 6:40 am, my individual journey started, but the fraternity's camaraderie and shared experiences have proven far more valuable than any personal accomplishments. I dedicate this day to my Sands and line brothers to Henry Cabanne Omega Chapter, Stan DeJongh Omega Chapter, Nate Calhoun Omega Chapter and E. LaBrent Chrite , that makeup our glorious line of the 5 Majestic Crusaders!
