Wouldn’t have a JD without you 👩🏻‍🎓

I couldn’t even capture the best parts of graduation weekend: from the family dinner where I didn’t even think to pull out my phone, to the morning-after debrief with one of my besties, and my brothers convincing me to head home early to celebrate with them; my heart is so full.

Thank you to and for EVERYTHING, to my brother Tanner for putting the idea of law school into my head, and to .tracy0823 .marzec for being there every step of the way 💕

Thank you to all of my new friends for making this so much fun: I feel like I didn’t get to say proper goodbyes, but maybe that’s a sign that this wasn’t goodbye. To all of my old friends, thanks for letting me share this journey with you ✨

I never thought I would be here. Thank you for the opportunity to change my life.

Unpopular opinion: I loved law school. Maybe I’m biased— I ended up here on the heels of a rough season of life. I loved doing the work- no boss, no employees, a break from the emotional labor that comes with a job. Law school had a way of making all of my problems come to the surface (idk if it was like that for everyone) and I had the space and energy to deal with them. I got to reconnect with myself. It’s been… healing.

Maybe in hindsight I’ll have better words to describe it, but for now, I’m so grateful.
