This is a belated acknowledgement, but there are still some left! An anonymous artist left quite a few of these fantastic hand painted postcards, in anticipation of Passover treats. I'm especially partial to the fruit slices (both the cards and in real life).

Happy no-longer-February! Back when I was having trouble with the Little Free Mailbox being repeatedly cleaned out and I was being very judicious about how much stuff I put out at a time, shared these Dungeons and Dragons cards and matching stamps. I don't know anything at all about D&D, but I just broke into a sheet of the stamps for a Stranger Things card I made and these really are quite beautiful cards, so it seemed like a good time to get them out!
Also, while I so very much appreciate the intentions of whoever has been leaving books on a regular basis, I've been relocating them to the Little Free Library at the Y so I have room for the stationery!

I've held onto these incredibly cute Goodnight Moon postalettes from for too long! Stop by and get them before the snow starts and/or if you need to step away from the news for a bit.

Thank you mystery donor for sharing these adorable hand painted postcards! The nicest thing about the Little Free Mailbox has been that every time I neglect it for a few weeks, someone else always steps in to make sure there are cards available. I've refreshed the postcard supply and will be adding some more stationery before this weekend's snow storm.

Thank you for these USPS holiday cheer cards and stamps! I was glad to get to see the art in a larger format--apparently the designs are collages made from painted gardening book pages. I think the cards are actually nicer than the stamps. I also added a bunch more Christmas cards, postcards, and stamps to the Little Free Mailbox.

Thank you to the mystery donor who gave me another opportunity to play the stamp matching game!

I still have have not raked the leaves and may have skipped right over Thanksgiving, but holiday cards are now in the mailbox! Thank you to Melissa for the assortment of Christmas postcards. There are also a variety of Hanukkah, Christmas, and nonsectarian winter greeting cards, some stickers, and coloring cards, and I will be adding more over the next few days.

Happy Halloween from the Little Free Mailbox! Special thanks to Melissa for the jack-o'-lantern stamps. I happened to have these cards on hand which were a perfect match. It seemed like we had more trick or treaters than usual, so hopefully a few were introduced to the idea of sending a belated Halloween card!

sent some of her fantastic upcycled cards a few months ago and I saved these for Halloween. I loved There's a Nightmare in My Closet when I was little and it was fun to be reminded of it in stationery form!

As usual, I am behind in posting additions to the Little Free Mailbox. I've been adding miscellaneous seasonal cards over the past week, including some assorted autumn and Halloween postcards that Melissa shared. More Halloween stuff coming this weekend!

Happy World Postcard Day! Today is also the fourth anniversary of the Little Free Mailbox. This past year has been a bit frustrating with several incidents of vandalism and having the mailbox completely emptied a few times, but the frustrations have been more than balanced by the neighbors who continue to let me know they appreciate it. Thank you to Melissa for the official World Postcard Day cards!
