As our Summer Activity Groups wrap up this month, let’s throw some love at the people who made your summer brighter. Tag a friend, a group leader, a coworker, or a next-door neighbor below and tell them why you’re thankful they are in your backyard! Let’s fill the feed with encouragement today.

What’s better than Wednesday nights at Pequea Church? Wednesday nights with your best friend! Wednesday nights are one of the easiest ways to introduce kids and teens to Jesus. From small group discussions to epic games, there’s a spot for everyone in grades 1–12.

Share this with your parent friends and don't forget to:

2️⃣ Challenge them to invite one friend to come along!

Let's start praying for each child and youth who will be a part of these epic Wednesday nights and for how their faith will grow from this experience.

When King Saul panicked because he couldn't get an answer from heaven, his impatience drove him straight to the forbidden: the Medium of Endor. Desperate for a quick fix and an immediate answer, he stepped completely outside of God’s boundaries.

Impatience tells us that a wrong shortcut is better than waiting on God's timing. But the cost of forcing our own answers is always a spiritual detour we weren't meant to take. If you’re in a season of waiting and the silence feels loud, join us this week as we find the strength to hold on.

Your 5-Minute Challenge: Read Galatians 6:9: "Let us not become weary in doing good..." Spend 5 minutes actively praying for Lancaster County. Pray for our local schools, teachers, students, small business owners, and your direct next-door neighbors. Pray that our church would continue to be a light right where we live.

When life gets stressful or lonely, we naturally gravitate toward broken wells. Here is how to pivot your habits back to Jesus this week:

The Trigger: You feel lonely, stressed, or inadequate.

The Old Well: Endless scrolling on social media, overworking, bingeing, or looking for quick validation.

The Living Water Pivot: Pause for 2 minutes. Turn off your phone, close your eyes, and pray: "Jesus, my soul is running low right now. I ask You to fill this void instead of the culture."

Let’s break the cycle of returning to things that cannot sustain us.

It’s easy to look good on the outside while harboring a completely different reality on the inside. That’s the tragic story of Sapphira.

In the early church, she and her husband wanted the reputation of being radically generous without actually making the sacrifice. They kept a portion for themselves but pretended they gave it all.
