This event doesn’t happen without community.

For 13 years, the Nicole Conway Recovery Volleyball Tournament has brought people together to remember those we’ve lost, celebrate recovery, and support children and families impacted by overdose.

And behind every team, every game, every conversation, and every moment of connection are people and organizations who choose to invest in this community.

To this year’s sponsors: thank you. 💙

Your support helps make this day possible — and more importantly, it helps carry forward the purpose behind it. Because this tournament is about so much more than volleyball. It’s about showing up for one another, creating connection, and making sure the impact of loss doesn’t end with the loss itself.

We are incredibly grateful for every business, organization, and community partner who said yes to being part of this year's event.

Thank you for believing in this community. Thank you for standing with families. And thank you for helping us keep the memories — and the spirit of recovery — at the heart of this day.

We can't wait to see everyone this Saturday at Fairview Park. 🏐💙

Meet Jeanne. ❤️

At 86, Jeanne found herself facing an incredibly difficult moment and an uncertain future. She didn't know where she would land next.

Our Blueprints Specialty Programs team was there to listen, help her navigate what came next, and walk alongside her until she found a place to call home.

We’re so grateful and proud to serve our community in this way — helping people find their footing when life feels uncertain.

A huge thank you to our Specialty Programs team for the care, compassion, and dedication they bring to this work every day. ❤️

From receiving a Warm Handoff to helping provide one. 💜

After surviving an overdose, Justin received a Warm Handoff that connected him to care at Lancaster General Health. Today, he's using his experience to help others through his work at Blueprints.

We're proud of Justin for sharing his story and grateful to be part of a system that connects people to care when they need it most.

🏐 13 years of coming together for recovery, remembrance, and community.

On August 22, Blueprints will host our 13th Annual Recovery Volleyball Tournament at Fairview Park in Columbia.

For 13 years, this event has brought people together to honor loved ones lost to overdose, support families, and create a space for connection, remembrance, and hope.

This year, funds raised will support seven Pennsylvania children who have lost a parent, or both parents, to overdose loss.

We're grateful to everyone who has played, volunteered, donated, sponsored, cheered from the sidelines, and helped carry this tradition forward year after year. 💜

Come play. Come cheer. Come be part of it.

In June, 20 individuals were connected to employment opportunities through Specialty Programs.

Behind that number are people overcoming barriers, exploring new opportunities, and taking steps toward the future they want to build.

We’re proud to share the work of our Specialty Programs team and the community partners who help create pathways to opportunity.

Every number represents a person.

Behind every connection is someone choosing to keep moving forward.

Someone exploring new opportunities. Someone overcoming barriers. Someone taking another step toward the future they want to build.

This month, 20 individuals were connected to employment opportunities through Specialty Programs.

Employment is one milestone, but it's also part of something much bigger. It reflects the strength of trusted relationships, the dedication of our staff, the commitment of participants who continue showing up for themselves, and the invaluable support of our community partners who help create pathways to opportunity.

Progress is rarely the result of one person or one organization. It's built through individuals who keep showing up, staff who continue walking alongside them, community partners who open doors, and a community that believes everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Every connection tells a story. Every step forward matters. And every person deserves the opportunity to build a future filled with purpose and hope.

Behind every service is a person. Behind every milestone is a story.

Our Blueprints Specialty Programs team recently shared Larry's Participant Spotlight, highlighting the power of hope, resilience, and community.

We invite you to take a few moments to read his story below. 💙

This Week's Win! 🎉

Every milestone begins with a first step—and every journey is shaped by perseverance, meaningful relationships, and opportunities that help people—and communities—move forward.

This week, we're celebrating Larry's perseverance, determination, and willingness to keep moving forward, even when the journey wasn't always easy.

Over time, Larry consistently showed up, built trusting relationships with our team, and remained committed to his employment goals. Through those relationships, ongoing support, and a connection to CareerLink, he recently achieved an incredible milestone—accepting a position as an electrical technician in the field he had been working toward.

Moments like this don't happen overnight. They're built through trust, consistency, and the courage to keep taking the next step, even when obstacles arise. Larry's journey is a reminder that when people have access to meaningful support, opportunities begin to feel possible.

Recovery support is about more than connecting someone to a service. It's about removing barriers, creating access, and walking alongside individuals as they pursue goals that reflect their strengths, passions, and potential.

Today, we celebrate Larry—not only for this incredible accomplishment, but for the perseverance that brought him here. We can't wait to continue walking alongside you as you write the next chapter of your journey. 💙

Today, Blueprints for Addiction Recovery joined Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs Secretary Dr. Latika Davis-Jones, Lancaster General Hospital and community partners to highlight the impact of Pennsylvania's Warm Handoff Program in Lancaster County.

As the contracted Warm Handoff provider for Lancaster County, Blueprints' Specialty Programs team works alongside Lancaster General Hospital to help connect individuals from the emergency department to treatment, recovery support, and community resources following a substance use crisis.

We were proud to have CEO Ben McCoy and Specialty Programs Director Justin Dettinger represent Blueprints during today's event and to stand alongside our partners as we continue strengthening pathways to recovery throughout our community.
