We had a great meeting last Friday! Reasons your Marketing isn't working
1. You don't have a target audience - Marketing without a target audience is really just putting stuff out there and hoping someone will buy it.
Fix This - Define your audience. Not the Anybodys,Everybodys and Somebodys, but a specific targeted audience. Figure out where they are and what makes them tick.
2. You aren't consistent - Marketing isn't something you can do for a hot minute until you get busy and forget about it.
Fix This - Scheduling + Automation are your BFFs.
3. You aren't paying attention to your analytics - The only way to really know if your marketing is working is to track your results.
Fix This - Use the available tools to track your marketing activities. Before you determine if it works or not, take a realistic look at how much effort you are putting into it. Do more of what works and less of what doesn't.
Great Ways to Begin Your Presentation
•Tell a captivating story. Stories draw people in, remind them of their own lives and hold their attention.
•Ask a rhetorical, thought-provoking question. When crafted and delivered well, rhetorical questions can influence the audience to believe in the position of the speaker.
•State a shocking statistic or headline. Statistics or claims need to be directly related to the main purpose of your presentation, and it should persuade the audience to want to listen and respond positively to what you are about to say.
•Use a powerful quote. Employ the wise words of a well-known person because the name allows you to tap into his/her credibility, likability and notoriety. The quote must have meaning and relevance to the audience.
•Show a gripping photo. A compelling image adds aesthetic appeal, increases comprehension and engages the audience's imagination.
•Play a short video. Unlike text on a slide, videos evoke emotional responses.
