We don’t possess the blueprint to life! Some mornings I open my eyes and the doubt is already seated at the foot of the bed, waiting. Some days I stumble and interrogate every echo in my chest. I second guess the path before I’ve taken a step. There are stretches where my faith stops being the ground beneath me and becomes a bridge I’m building with trembling hands, spanning the chasm between who I am and who God wants me to be, in a world full of chaos. One thing he has shown me is HE is steady, even when I am a storm.

I wrote “Steady as We Go” in the thick of an unraveling season, when the road narrowed to a blade’s edge and I couldn’t see my next step, God led me to balance.
