Garrard County Schools was proud to have six educators present at the recent CKEC Educon Education Showcase, highlighting how our three elementary schools work within a shared system to design high-quality, standards-aligned instruction for all learners.👏📚
Their session focused on coherence across classrooms and schools, including unit design, common assessments, access to grade-level learning, coteaching structures, and systems for reteach and intervention.

Just a reminder to mark your calendar for the Golden Lions Football Youth Camp this Friday, June 19th from 5:30PM-7PM!🦁🏈 This free camp is open to kids in K-4th grade for the 2026-27 school year and is a great opportunity to learn football fundamentals from our Golden Lions coaches and players. It will be held at the Garrard County High School Athletic Complex, and Youth League registration will also be available during Camp Night. We hope to see you there! Each participant will receive a free camp tshirt!

The final preschool screening date for the 2026-27 school year is approaching!📚🗓️ If your child meets eligibility requirements and you are interested in enrolling in preschool, please complete the screening registration form to schedule an appointment at the Garrard Education Center. A preschool screening is required prior to fall in order to enroll. Parents/Guardians must bring income verification and all required documentation to the appointment, as students cannot be screened without the required paperwork. Please review the flyer carefully for eligibility requirements and a complete list of documents needed before registering.

📢It’s time to get ready for the 2026–27 school year! Parents must complete the Annual Update before student schedules and classroom teacher assignments will be available.

Parents, don’t forget to complete your Online Registration Annual Update (OLR)—it’s quick and easy! If your student is already enrolled, simply log in to your Parent Portal account to update information and add any new students, like incoming kindergartners.
