Ok Face-bookers, need your help. Looking for information regarding the WWII memorial that was once beside the Historical Courthouse. Looking for any information pertaining to who commissioned it, when, what was inscribed and the when and why of it being torn down. Also, any full on pictures of the memorial.

The LCHC would like to thank Melody Craig for her 25plus years of volunteered services to the LCHC as our Chairwoman. She is stepping down June 30th and she will be missed very much. Her experience and knowledge of Lancaster and it’s history has played a very large part in the development of Lancaster’s Historical Courthouse Museum. Thank you Melody!

Who’s who??? 1939 Photo of possible students in front of Erwin Farm Graded School. Can you help identify them. Sorry it’s grainy.
An ongoing project of LCHC is to document all schools known to Lancaster County. We are in search of school photos, locations of school and/or any interesting information pertaining to history of school. Is structure still standing? Any information, photos or locations would be greatly appreciated.
