Thankful to have found another great course from led by . I learned a new skill that I've been wanting to try, gel plate printing, but most importantly, made the time to be freely creative with no real deadlines or parameters!

💕 🌼 🦋 Happy Easter, Happy Spring! So enjoyed working on this custom scarf for . This scarf is extra special, incorporating 3 generations in its construction...repurposed scarves, adorable original designs, and vintage patchwork pieces! How special is that?!

I've promised myself that this year, I will take more time to nurture my creativity with no strings attached, no concern about productivity, and no (self) judgement 😉. So I was thankful to find a course through led by that combined my love of textiles, painting, and nature. My work "Glorious October" was inspired by a walk through a local park on a beautiful day.

I am a complete beginner at using a drop spindle (terrible at it!), but I love the effect I'm getting using up my roving scraps to create yarn to embellish some collage scarves! I'm calling it "art yarn" 😄
