When Jesus is the foundation of MARRIAGE a husband and wife:

1. Ask…what does God say in Word about our situation? The goal isn’t getting onE’s own way. A couple seeks God’s way together.

2. Pray…which invites Holy Spirit into their midst. A couple submitted to Jesus knows they can’t do marriage without Him and invite His presence daily into their life.

3. Read the Bible…seeking discernment, clarity and direction in God’s Word in order to identify what is true and what is not with regard to God’s plan for their marriage a d family.

4. Worship Together…choosing to glorify God with praise and Thanksgiving. This positions a husband and wife humbly before God saying, we trust you Lord, we honor you Lord and we choose your ways over our own.

Marriage was NEVER meant to be husband and wife alone….God created it to be a 3 cord strand: God/Husband/Wife.

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.” Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭ESV‬‬

He has several ways He helps us see life through HIS PERSPECTIVE, providing direction and course correction in order for us to navigate this life In Christ.

We were never meant to journey this life apart from Him.

He is the ultimate navigating system and His plans are ALWAYS good for us. Jeremiah 29:11.

What we focus on becomes bigger in us.

As believers in Jesus, let’s practice abiding in God’s presence through worship, prayer, reading the Word and meditating on God’s Word…turning our attention to Him.

As we do, His presence around us will become bigger than our circumstances.

Let’s turn our attention to His presence INSIDE us.

Jesus lives in us as believers through Holy Spirit.

The power of God is always working and His healing power is there for us to use, by faith in Jesus, to resist any attack, temptation or sickness that tries so come our way.

Begin meditating on the Word of God and what He says about a worry free, peaceful mind. Here are some scriptures to begin reading. Ask the Lord to show you what He wants to tell you through His Word and write it down. Meditate on the Word…meaning think about it, especially when worry, fear or anxiety try to overtake your thought life.
