Ruff City Pet started because of one little Frenchie named Eli.

Like a lot of pet parents, I struggled to find products I could truly trust. Eli dealt with stomach issues, food sensitivities, and finding treats he actually enjoyed wasn’t always easy. That journey sent me down a path of researching ingredients, learning about nutrition, and searching for better options.

What started as wanting the best for my own dog turned into a passion for helping other pet parents do the same.

Eli may be the face on our sign, but he’s also the heart behind Ruff City Pet.

Our Ruff City Pet space at the Artisan Mill in Lititz got a refresh!

We’ve added so many fun new items, making it even easier to find something your pet will love. From enrichment toys and delicious treats to grooming essentials and unique goodies, there’s always something new to discover.

Eli made the rounds in Manheim today. He started at the Ruff City Pet space (basket approved), checked out the Wolf Street Bazaar, and spent some time browsing at before relaxing in the floral chair.

Meet the faces behind Ruff City Pet

On the left is Arthur — the fluffy white-and-brown sweetheart with a calm, lovable personality. On the right is Eli — the Frenchie who helped inspire Ruff City Pet from the very beginning.

Eli’s journey with stomach sensitivities and picky eating is what sparked the search for cleaner, more trustworthy products that dogs actually love. That experience became the foundation for Ruff City Pet and the mission behind every product shared today.

Arthur may be newer to the spotlight, but he’s already become the perfect sidekick to Eli and keeps everyone smiling with his sweet personality
