📢It’s time to get ready for the 2026–27 school year! Parents must complete the Annual Update before student schedules and classroom teacher assignments will be available.

Parents, don’t forget to complete your Online Registration Annual Update (OLR)—it’s quick and easy! If your student is already enrolled, simply log in to your Parent Portal account to update information and add any new students, like incoming kindergartners. Welcome back to GC, Mrs. Diana Hart!👏

Garrard County Schools is pleased to announce Mrs. Diana Hart as the district’s next Assistant Superintendent.👏
Mrs. Hart brings a wealth of educational leadership experience, including 13 years of service in Garrard County Schools in a variety of roles. During her tenure, she made history as the first and only female principal of Garrard County High School. Most recently, she served as Assistant Superintendent in Lincoln County Schools.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry Education. In addition, she has earned her Director of Pupil Personnel certification, Curriculum Specialist certification, and Superintendent certification.
Mrs. Hart is dedicated to student success, supporting educators, and strengthening a positive and high-performing learning environment across the district. While her professional accomplishments are extensive, she considers her greatest achievements to be her family, her husband of 20 years, Clayton, and their two children, Parker and Stella Beth.

Calling all boys entering grades 7–12 interested in golf!🦁⛳️
Join us for our Boys Golf Interest Meeting on June 9th and/or June 11th from 5:30–7:00PM in the GCHS Golf Simulator Room, located at 599 Industry Road, Lancaster, KY 40444.
Parents and players can expect:
• An introduction to the coaching staff
• An overview of the golf program and team expectations
• Information about tryouts and the season
• Registration details
• A Q&A session
Whether you're an experienced golfer or brand new to the game, we'd love to meet you!

Important: A current KHSAA sports physical must be on file with the school by July 1, 2026 to be eligible to try out and participate on the team.
Please bring your golf clubs, golf shoes, and a great attitude!

Exemplary attendance is defined as a presence rate between 97% and 100%, encompassing both excused and unexcused absences. Students maintaining this level of engagement establish a robust academic foundation, significantly enhancing their potential for long-term success.
