Last month, we had the opportunity to attend the Keystone NAMI Conference in Harrisburg, PA, an inspiring event that brought together mental health advocates, professionals and resources from across the community. We were honored to attend the Legislative Breakfast in Lancaster County, coordinated by Mental Health America of Lancaster and Lebanon, at Bent Creek Country Club in Lititz. The event sparked meaningful conversations about the critical need for funding to support mental health services in our community.
It was a powerful opportunity to connect with local leaders, advocates and partners who share a commitment to improving access to care. Together, we can continue to raise awareness and advocate for the resources needed to ensure individuals and families receive the support they deserve.

As Mental Health Month comes to a close, we stand together in an important reminder: mental health is health. Our team is proud to raise awareness, reduce stigma and support one another because caring for our minds matters just as much as caring for our bodies.

Earlier this month, a former patient returned with an incredible gesture, 200 handwritten thank-you cards for our team in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Each card reflects the time, care and heart he put into expressing his gratitude. He shared how much his experience meant to him and asked us to pass along this powerful message: “You saved my life.”
In this work, it can be easy to wonder just how much of a difference we’re making but moments like this serve as a powerful reminder: we are making an impact every single day. These cards were placed in our employee break rooms, where staff were encouraged to take one as a lasting reminder of the difference they make.
Thank you to our incredible team for the compassion, dedication and care you bring each day. We are so proud of you!
