Youth Inspired. Future Driven:

Over the weekend, students from across our community showed up ready to learn, engage, and take real steps toward understanding how money works and how to make it work for them.

Through our Financial Literacy Student Workshop, participants explored topics like budgeting, saving, credit, and long-term financial planning. This wasn’t just information. It was real conversation, real questions, and real connections to their everyday lives and future goals.

The energy in the room was undeniable. Students leaned in, stayed engaged, and took ownership of their learning, building not just knowledge, but confidence they can carry forward.

We’re grateful for every student who showed up and made this experience meaningful.

A special thank you to our partners and sponsors who helped make it all possible: Lancaster -PA- Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Fulton Bank, S&T Bank, and The LINK Foundation. Your investment in our youth continues to create real, lasting impact.

This work happens because people choose to show up. It’s a powerful reminder of what’s possible when community, partnership, and opportunity come together.

From Catalyst to The Mix Ambassador Program:

We recently had the opportunity to be at Armstrong World Industries with Leadership Lancaster for the CATALYST experience.

Each year, Leadership Lancaster's Core Class partners with local organizations, presenting their projects and reflecting on what they’ve learned through hands-on, real-world work. That level of engagement shows.

Being in the room with this year’s class—and alongside so many organizations doing meaningful work across Lancaster—was impactful. There was clear intention behind every conversation and every solution presented.

We came in looking to strengthen how we engage our current donors. What came out of it is something we’re genuinely excited about—a clear, thoughtful framework that’s helping shape what you’ll soon see as The Mix Ambassador Program.

This team didn’t just respond to the ask. They took the time to understand the “why,” identify real needs, and build something that can grow with us.

That’s the kind of leadership Leadership Lancaster continues to develop.

Their vision says it best: A Lancaster County where every individual feels empowered to lead, contribute, and grow in a culture of openness and shared purpose.

We saw that vision in action, and we’re looking forward to what comes next.
