Thank you to our friends at Mid Penn Bank for their continued support of Anchor Lancaster. We are so grateful for their recent collection of much‑needed paper towels — a simple gift that makes a real difference in the daily care we provide.
As Philippians 4:19 reminds us, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” We are thankful for partners who help meet those needs in such tangible ways.
Grateful for community. Grateful for generosity. Grateful for you.

Donation Deliveries
As you may be aware, Anchor Lancaster has ceased operations of our Day Center at the Tenfold facility located at 308 East King Street. During our time there, we were grateful to receive many generous donations, including bottled water and other essential items.
With the closure of the Day Center, all mail and deliveries should now be directed to address:

What a wonderful opportunity to gather with so many inspiring nonprofits through the Solomon Lancaster Give a Chance initiative. We are deeply grateful to Anchor Lancaster’s voters for supporting us — your belief in our mission keeps us moving forward.
A huge thank‑you to Solomon Lancaster Give a Chance for bringing us all together. It was energizing to stand alongside organizations making a real difference in our county. And it was great seeing our partners at Community Aid at the event as well.
As Ecclesiastes 4:9 reminds us, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” We are thankful for the strength that comes from working together in community.
Grateful, encouraged, and blessed.

Help - Needed
Anchor is currently in need of paper towels and napkins — the sort of supplies no one notices until suddenly everyone needs them.
They are used daily at breakfast, in the kitchen, around tables, and anywhere ordinary messes decide to become a group project. Donations can be dropped off at Anchor, 29 E. Walnut Street, Monday–Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Not Nearly Enough
A lunch of hot empanadas from Frisco's Chicken hardly covers the depth of Anchor’s gratitude, but last week Patty had the opportunity to thank members of Tenfold’s team for their partnership and for the many ways their organization has served Lancaster County over the years. Housing work is complicated work; it requires patience, long memory, difficult conversations, and people willing to remain present when solutions are neither simple nor immediate. As we close this chapter of the Day Shelter, we thank God for organizations willing to carry responsibility with seriousness and compassion, and we are especially grateful to Tenfold for sharing their space on E. King Street in partnership with Anchor.
