Lost My Way was one of those songs that just came out all at once without any need for revisions. It’s a song about self-reflection - about knowing what you need to do but not always having the mental capacity to do it - about noticing the passage of time and feeling how bittersweet that can be. Musically we had been searching for a song to get us back to our acoustic-driven roots and this one came to us at the perfect time for that. We hope you guys can relate to it as much as we have! Hey everyone,

We’ve got new music out today for the first time in a long time and we can’t begin to describe how good that feels. Covid really impacted the future plans we had envisioned for Nearly York. The past few years we struggled to figure out what exactly we wanted out of music and the next steps for the band.

In the end, we realized that it is and always will be a top priority for each of us to use our abilities to write and release music into the world. It’s not about achieving any level of fame or recognition, rather it’s about keeping promises that we made to ourselves and each other, and continue writing songs we truly love.

That being said, we couldn’t be more excited to announce that “Panic” is the first of many songs we plan to release in 2024 - a collection of singles that will lead up to our next full-length release!

“Panic” is out and available everywhere that you stream your music. Thank you to everyone who has stuck by us and here’s to the future! 😁
