Linda Verde's Dual Language Immersion Program

Hola Familias y amigos de la escuela Linda Verde. Muchísimas gracias por habernos acompañado el día de ayer a nuestro evento de “Bienvenida” del nuevo año escolar. El viernes nos divertimos y la pasamos muy bien con todos Uds. y estuvimos muy contentos de verles a todos. Nos gustaría agradecerles inmensamente a nuestros miembros de “PTO” por organizar y hacer de nuestra fiesta de Bienvenida un gran éxito, nuestros padres voluntarios y maestros hicieron un trabajo fantástico.

Recuerden que deben registrarse para el año escolar 2018-2019 antes del 7 de agosto, el primer día de la escuela. Pueden completar su registraron en su hogar o en el centro de Bienestar y Bienvenida o la oficina de nuestra escuela.

Por cualquier pregunta no duden en llamar a nuestra oficina, al numero de teléfono 661-942-0431 y nuestro personal les atenderán con gusto porque estamos aquí para servirles en lo que necesiten.

Hello Linda Verde families and friends. Thank you all so much for joining us yesterday at our “Welcome Back” family event, we had a great time and it was so nice to see you all. Thank you so very much to our Linda Verde PTO for organizing, and running our “Welcome Back” fiesta, you all did a fantastic job.

Please remember to register your children for the 2018/2019 school year before August 7th, our first day of school. You can register from home, at the Welcome and Wellness Center or here at Linda Verde.

Bilingual kids advance at DOUBLE the rate of native English speakers An NYU study found that multilingual students' academic scores improved at double or triple the rate of native English speakers, bolstering evidence that more languages are better for grains.

Our amazing Linda Verde PTO and parent volunteers threw a great “Cinco De Mayo” celebration. We had amazing food, music and dance. Thank you to Casita Lopez for the food, thanks to our Folklorico dancers and the amazing Mariachi band.

Nuestro increíble PTO de Linda Verde y padres voluntarios hicieron una gran celebración del "Cinco de Mayo". Tuvimos comida, música y bailes increíbles. Gracias a Casita Lopez por la comida, gracias a nuestros bailarines folclóricos y la increíble banda de Mariachi.

Parents, students and Linda Verde families, please join us this Friday for an early “Cinco de Mayo” celebration. We will have performances, including wonderful dances performed by our Folklorico dancers, live Mariachi band, as well as information for interested parents and our existing Linda Verde family. The fun begins on Friday, May 4th at 4:30 and ends at 6:30. Please come and celebrate our children! We look forward to seeing you all.

Another amazing event put together by fabulous staff members. Linda Verde's Cultural Academy was a great success! The unit of study was Africa and our teachers and students displayed a variety of visual and performing arts.

Hello everyone, this is Mr. Lydon, your school's principal, with an important announcement...This Friday, May 26th, we will be hosting our final Cultural Academy Family Event for this school year. Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. Please come to celebrate our students' studies and knowledge of world-wide cultures, this will be another great day for our students, staff, teachers and families.
