Election Day 2025 is less than 24 hours away! As we inch closer, WGAL News Channel 8 Susquehanna Valley, Pa. wants to help make you a more informed voter. One of the races that we are highlighting, and following, is the mayoral race in Columbia, Lancaster County. Incumbent Republican Leo Lutz is running for another term, having served for the last 24 years. Democratic challenger Jasmine Preston is hoping to unseat Lutz; Preston is also the first challenger that Lutz has faced in a decade.

Happy Halloween, Susquehanna Valley! I hope you and your family enjoy trick-or-treating this holiday weekend. Just know that if I was in any other profession, THIS is what I would’ve worn for Halloween today. That said, I don’t think many of you would take kindly to this if you woke up to see THIS on your screens at 5 am. Maybe next year? 😂

Getting the chance to speak to the next generation of news personalities with Jere Gish - WGAL News 8 today at Cocalico High School. Hoping for lots of questions and convincing some young minds to enter the field of journalism!
Today's the day: first day doing traffic for the entirety of our morning cut-ins. It's still work-in-progress, don't worry, but I'm feeling pretty good about it so far! Next week is going to be fun. A special thanks to Regina Ahn - WGAL News 8 for her amazing work training me, and her patience throughout the whole process!

The Lebanon community is reeling this morning after four people tragically died in a fire on Sunday. Three of the four victims are children, as the family was gathering for a birthday celebration when the fire first started. You can help the family by giving donations today at a local business.

In my continued efforts to see everything the Susquehanna Valley has to offer, this city boy was told to stop by the West Lampeter Fair and witness…THE BARNYARD CHASE! Grease up some kids arms, put a pig in the middle of a MUD-SOAKED pen, and see who can catch it first! It. was. AWESOME! Shoutout to Kera Eby, who won her age bracket for the 9th(!) year in a row!
