When choosing a home inspector, be sure to ask if a drone will be used in those hard to access areas of a steep or tall roof.

A drone can be used in such areas as these to get within 2 feet of the roof surface. Most drones are equipped with a very strong zoom feature to capture the smallest details.

Spray paint on electrical wiring, deteriorates the sheathing, exposing wires and increasing potential for injury and fire.

A mold inspection is actually a moisture intrusion inspection. From the roof to the crawlspace/basement, every nook and cranny will be inspected for ways moisture can intrude.

Some things you cannot see from the road...

This home had an addition built on so new shingles were laid over the new roof sheathing. Notice the "cracked" shingles where the new shingles were added underneath the existing roof. The cracks are actually missing granules that provide your home with an extra layer of protection. These granules prevent the two underlying layers of your roofing shingles, the asphalt and fiberglass mat, from being exposed to the elements.
