Meet the Baker👩🏻‍🍳

My gingerbread men have been around for a while now so I thought I should introduce myself…Hi! I’m Wendy👩🏻‍🍳

My love of baking and cooking came at a very early age. I always loved being in the kitchen with my mom. I would take random ingredients and just mix up a concoction, sometimes it would turn out OK and sometimes not🥴 but that didn’t stop me. I enjoyed the challenge.

I love taking recipes and making them my own. Tweaking them until they become the vision I have in my head of what I want them to be. That is how my gingerbread men came to life. I started out baking them for friends and family years ago. Everyone loved them and said I should start selling them, that’s when “ My Gingerbread Addiction” was born.

I am a full-time cosmetologist and co-owner of a salon here in Lancaster. I started my little home business a couple of years ago selling my gingerbread men during the holidays. I will be adding more baked items to my list soon, offering items such as homemade breads, cheesecakes, birthday cakes, cinnamon rolls, and so on.
