RRTA has proposed Route & Schedule Changes! A 30-Day comment period has started for customers to review the changes. Customers can let us know if they like the changes or have concerns. Customers can send in comments via email, phone or mail any time during the 30 days. A Public Hearing will also be available if anyone wants to submit their comments in person.

Route 17 - Columbia

The Columbia “Thunder on the River” Car Show will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Streets will be closed from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the event.

The following streets will be closed during the event:
• Locust Street from Front Street to 6th Street
• 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Streets between Walnut Street and Cherry Street

Attention RRTA Customers!

With the Independence Day holiday being on a Saturday this year, our service schedule looks a little different.

Friday, July 3, 2026 will operate on a Saturday schedule. Regular service will resume on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

RRTA will hold a public hearing regarding the Shared-Ride fare increase scheduled to take effect on August 1, 2026.

📢 Shared-Ride Fare Increase Notice

Beginning August 1, 2026, a new fare increase will take effect for Red Rose Access shared-ride service.

Current fares will remain in effect through Friday, July 31, 2026. We encourage customers to review the updated fare schedule before the changes take effect.
